A case of Reiter's disease is reported in a young male showing typical dermatological lesions and positive finding for the HLA-B27 antigen histocompatibility complex. The condition arose following enteric infection with Salmonella enteritidis. Remission followed treatment with tetracycline, prednisone and indomethacin. The relapse of disease was treated with methotrexate. A review of clinical, physiopathologic and laboratory findings of Reiter's syndrome are presented.
