Obesity is a multifatorial disease regarding its etiology and pathogenesis and is considered a risk factor for several diseases. The search for the ideal body has become a dream, especially among women. In this study, we analyzed the profile of clients assisted in a spa. The results showed that 70% of the sample (n= 554) was composed by women. Customers mean age was of 48.9±11.5 years and the average BMI was 27.3±4,0 kg/m². We observed a loss of approximately 3.14kg in the 6-day period of admission. The reasons alleged for searching treatment were the most varied, however, the concern with the aesthetics was the main issue.
