A six-year old Simmental cow was referred to the Veterinary Hospital in Cuiaba, Brazil, with an ocular tumor involving the cornea and conjunctiva. The animal was submitted to regional anesthesia after which superficial keratectomy and conjunctival incision were performed. Third palpebral flap and adequate post-surgical therapy were employed. By the 12th post operative day the fluorescein dye test was negative. The tumor was examined by histopathology and was diagnosed as ocular squamous cells carcinoma. Relapse was not observed up to 18 months after the surgery.
