SUMMARY
The Ehlers-Danlos syndrome comprises a group of alterations of the connective tissue with hereditary character, whose basic alteratians seem to involve the colagenous fibers. Ocular and systemic alterations are described. The authors relate a case of the Ehlers-Danlos syndrome that presented hyperelasticity of the eyelid, myopia, staphyloma, microcornea and glaucoma. The patient was submitted to a trabeculectomy with success.
