SUMMARY
Ocular man ifestations of Hansen 's disease were studied in 63 patients at the Souza A raújo colony hospital in Brazil. A third of the patients had visual acu ity less than 1 0 % . Trichias is, mada rosis of t h e eyebrows a n d epiphora were the most frequent pathologies of the eyelids. Ca ta ract, corneal anesthesia and pterygium were also frequently found.
