SUMMARY
Commercially avaiable bottles of anesthetic solutions and fluorescein eye-drops were opened, combined (1:1) and inoculated with Pseudomonas aeruginosa or Staphylococcus aureus, in order to analyse the ability of anesthetic fluorescein combination to remain sterile. Bacterial ingrowth were not observed on cultures got from the combination after one minute, 15 minutes, one hour, two hours and 24 hours of the inoculation.
