This article intends to observe the meaning of orí (the head, among the Yorùbá people of West Africa). The orí will be the point of departure of a theological complex problem, which expresses plural discourses in the middle of the so-called Yorùbá framework; in fact, a framework where Afro-Brazilian Candomblé takes an important role. Such pluridimensionality is an "all-in-one" in the matter of orí: predestination, fabrication and nature of orí, and the plurality of religious entities quoted in the bọrí - the ritual of 'feeding' the mythical head. Thereby, dealing with plural discourses in a same and specific matter means dealing with the idea of learning and transmission of religion, as presented by Berliner and Sarró.
