Abstract:
In search of a place from where to speak: the use of the medium and malleability of the setting clinic of narcissistic-identitarian sufferings. Starting from a discussion about the qualities of the essential relationships required to the development of symbolic capacity and, in particular, about the functioning of the environment as a malleable medium, the article seeks to point out the role of analyzing situation as a condition to the clinical transformation of suffering derived from primary failure of communication with the environment. With the construction of a clinical case, we intend to illustrate the way in which un-symbolized experiences need to be materialized in a medium, transfered to it, so that it can later be reflected, becoming apprehensible by the subject.
