Abstract:
In search of whether the insignificant can speak or not, this article focuses on Stella do Patrocínio’s poetics, articulating the fields of psychoanalysis, literature’s theory and philosophy. Therefore, it discusses what is symbolizable in the delirious discourse, and what remains on the sidelines, prevented from interpreting itself. Metaphor, while elaborating the Symbolic, guides this investigation, by bringing to the discussion the structuralist thinking of figures of speech, and a post-structuralist orientation, which does not take language as code, but as flow, to subvert the logic of representation.
