Abstract:
One of the effects of contemporary transformations is the absence of reference to the self, as the level of anguish rises. This article aims to discuss the politics of the appearance and disappearance of contemporary images and their clinical consequences. It is one of the results of a larger research that aims to investigate the dizzying rise of images and the decline of the function of words in contemporary subjectivity In the face of paralyzing anguish, a politics of existence is imposed that re-marks the place of singularity so that the subject of the unconscious appears.
