ABSTRACT
This paper has the objective of relating the first occurrence of the parasitoid Conura sp. (Hymenoptera: Chalcididae) in pupae of Tuta absoluta (Meyrick, 1917) (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae) in tomato in Lavras, Minas Gerais, during the period from August 2001 to February 2002. Thirteen specimens of Conura sp. were recovered from 500 pupae of T. absoluta. The rate of parasitism was 2.6%.
