ABSTRACT
The occurrences of abnormalities in the appetite of bovines in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil, are reported. The authors focus their attention on the main causes that predispose the animals to ingest foreign objects, and the various types of objects. These occurrences have been recorded over a period of 10 years of clinical observations involving herds of dairy cattle.
