ABSTRACT
Thin needle aspiration in eleven goats with enlargement of peripheral lymph nodes was evaluated. In seven out of eleven goats the Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis was identified by citology and isolated from material collected by thin needle aspiration. The purpose of this study is to describe the utilization of thin needle aspiration in the cytologic and microbiologic diagnosis of caseous lymphadenitis in goats.
