ABSTRACT

The aim of this work is to relate the occurrence of the louse Austrogoniodes bifasciatus on magellanic penguin (Spheniscus magellanicus) on Cassino Beach, county of Rio Grande, State of Rio Grande do Sul. This is the first report of this Mallophaga on the coast of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
