ABSTRACT
The present study was conducted to determine the reprodutive rate of Meloidogyne incognita race 2 to lettuce cultivars. The research was conducted in a glasshouse with 10 treatments (cv. Gorga, Vitória, Krizet, Lucy Brown, BR 202, BR 48, Vanessa, Monalisa, Elisa, Tinto) and 4 replications. The initial inoculum was 5,000 eggs and the evaluation of galls and egg-mass index and Pf/Pi was done after 55 days after inoculation. The 10 evaluated cultivars proved to be good hosts to the nematode.
