ABSTRACT
The objective of the research was irradiated pupae of Spodoptera frugiperda to induzed sterilizing on the adults emerged. Pupae with five days-old age were irradiated with increased doses of gamma radiation 0(control), 50, 100, 125, 150, 175 and 200 Gy, at dose rate of 2.15 kGy/hour. Irradiated adults were crossed with normal adults (Mi x Fn)(Fi x Mn) in the total of five pair for treatment. The experiment was conduzed in chamber at temperature of 25±2°C and relative humidity of 70±5%, photoperiod of 14:10. It was concluded that the dose of 200 Gy on pupae was sufficient to induzed the sterilizing.
