DESCRIPTION OF THE ASSOCIATED STRUCTURES OF THE COPULATORY BURSA AND THE GENITAL CONE OF HYDROCHOERISNEMA ANOMALOBURSATA ARANTES & ARTIGAS, 1980 (TRICHOSTRONGYLOIDEA, VIANAIIDAE)

ABSTRACT

From March to September 2000, 27 capybaras, Hydrochaeris hydrochaeris Linnaeus, 1766, were slaughtered at the slaughterhouse Líder, Viamão, RS. The animals were from semi-intensive raising the Rincão da Palmeira farm, Santo Antônio, RS. The specimens of the trichostrongylid Hydrochoerisnema anomalobursataArantes & Artigas, 1983ARANTES, I.G. & ARTIGAS, P. DE T. Hydrochoerisnema anomalobursata Arantes & Artigas, 1980 (Nematoda; Trichostrongyloidea) parasito de capivara (Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris) Linnaeus, 1766. Estabelecimento de nova subfamília: Hydrochoerisnematinae. Arq. Inst. Biol., São Paulo, v.50, n.1/4, p.39-49, 1983., were collected in the digestive tract; 10 males were measured and illustrated with the objective to detail the taxonomic character of this species.
