TRICHOPRIA ANASTRAPHAE (HYMENOPTERA: DIAPRIIDAE) PARASITOID OF DIPTERA, COLLECTD IN WOODED NATIVE AREA AND AT PASTURE IN ITUMBIARA, GOIÁS, BRASIL

ABSTRACT

Weekly collections were done using 10 yellow water traps, 5 placed at the pastures and 5 in the nearby native vegetation. These traps were made of yellow buckets measuring about 30 cm in diameter, 12cm in high and filled with 2 litres of water, 2mL of detergent and 2 mL of formaldehyde. From january to december 1998, 371 specimes of Trichopria anastrephae were collected in yellow watr traps. Most of the collected exemplares were during warm and humid wather. Data are provided on Biology and monthly frequency of Thichopria anastrephae.
