Abstract
Among the trends in literary contemporaneity in Brazil, critics have identified the presence of new realisms and the return to subjectivity SCHØLLHAMMER, 2009, 2020), the reiteration of the fractured narrative and the thematization of violence in big cities RESENDE, 2008), among others. Considering these findings, we recognize the recurrence of several traits present in the modern novel revisited in the contemporary. The present work proposes the analysis of one of these traits - multiperspectivity HARTNER, 2019; NIEDERHOFF, 2019) - in Meia-noite e vinte (Twenty After Midnight) (2016) by Daniel Galera, Pontos de fuga (2019) by Milton Hatoum, and Torto arado (2019) by Itamar Vieira Junior. We aim to analyze how multiple perspectives are articulated in authors and works with different aesthetic projects, seeking to understand the different effects achieved, and how each work touches on fundamental issues for Brazilian society today, such as violence.
