This paper analyses Diamela Eltit’s novel Jamais o fogo nuncaitalic> (2017), enquiring how a literary narrative intervenes in a discussion - which belongs to the biopolitical’s field - about the concept of life, a debate that spans the fields of law, biology, medicine and philosophy.
