This text develops the analysis of the poem "Parisien dream", from Baudelaire’s Flowers of Evil, in its relationship with "The slope of reverie" by Victor Hugo, as a forerunner of some prose poems extracted from Rimbaud’s Illuminations, which also deal with the team of the city.
