Abstract
This text, written in the manner of reading scenes, approaches narratives that problematize the question of the beginning. The analytical focus is on the aporetic character that articulates the beginning (of life, of experience, of meaning) with language. It is a temporal problem, of course, but also an ontological and, ultimately, a political one. What emerges from the critical reading of these inaugural literary scenes is the absent foundation that constitutes us, both individually and collectively.
