Cerebral embolism secundary to chronic chagasic cardiopathy

After brief considerations about the chronic chagasic cardiopathy and consequent thromboembolic phenomena, the author reports a case presenting cerebral manifestations such as right motor-sensitive hemiplegia with cephalic and brachial prevalency and motor aphasia. The case was studied under clinical, laboratorial and radiological aspects.
