Glucosis, urea and ceruloplasmin contents in the blood of patients with recent cranio-cerebral trauma

The contests of sulfur, copper and magnesium in the blood and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of 25 patients with recent cranio-cerebral trauma were determined. From the three groups in which the cases were classified, the group of unconscious patients with hemorragic CSF was the most frequent (11 cases). The values of sulfur in the CSF in the group of conscious patients with clear CSF were significantly higher than the normal levels. In the other cases there was only, in some cases, a tendency of the values to dissociate from the normal levels.
