AIM: This product consists in describe the creation process of an educational web site displaying information on evaluation and preventive care of feet in patients with diabetes mellitus also to evaluate the information content available in the web site with professionals. METHODS: It is an applied research based on the Tronchim Theoretical Model (1999) for the web site construction. RESULTS: The site has 68 pages with basic concepts of diabetes mellitus, diabetic foot, neuropathies, peripheral vascular disease, infections, amputations, education and nursing orientations. CONCLUSION: The site can be accessed by the URL: <A HREF="http://www.unifesp.br/denf/nien">www.unifesp.br/denf/nien</A>, in the option research.
