Analysis of the Functional components of the Peplau's theory and its confluence with the group referenceTo facilitate nurses' application of nursing theories, theories must be analyzed and disseminated. This study aimed to analyze the functional components of Paplau's Theory of Nursing among chemical dependent participants. The analysis of the theory was based on Meleis's model. The results of this analysis provided more than an understanding of the functional components of this theory; the results included the appropriateness and utilization of Paplau's theory to provide care to dependent chemical clients.
