Acheiropoiesis: sobrevivência do valor de culto na imagem técnica.

Each holy image has an intimate identification with what it represents. According to the Christian tradition, such experience is pushed to the limit by the Archeiropoiesis: the miracle through which the divine entity builds an image of himself, without no action of the man. Far from this context, it seems that some photographs still want to find in the picture the spontaneous appearance of an affective object, which leads to a paradox: the possibility of survival of a "cult value" in the same technical images that previously seemed to dissolve it.
