In this article I propose to discuss what I understand to be a disease of the current academy, which I have called Academic Normopathy. In it I define it as the sickness of the system of production of knowledge and academic formation that leads to the bureaucratization of production and inhibits creative intellectual activity, leading to an unproductive normalization of scientific production. In the article I try to unveil the extent, implications and causes of Normose, I discuss the reasons for its persistence and raise proposals for the mitigation of its damages and possible cure. I conclude by stating the need to encourage discussion so that paths can be found that offer us a more gratifying academic life and with better use of resources and public spaces.
