We investigated the conceptual movement adopted by Davýdov and his co-workers to propose the teaching of a Numbering System in the second grade of Elementary School. Davýdov, a doctor in Psychology and follower of Vygotski; coordinated the process of purpose elaboration to teaching Mathematics in the Soviet Union from the assumptions of a Historic-cultural theory. This proposal was published by the means of textbooks and of guidance to teachers. During the investigation, we analyzed the teaching tasks published in the books mentioned before. The analysis allowed us to reveal, in the propositions by Davýdov, the relationship among the general, universal, singular and particular, besides the consequence unity between the logical and historical.
