The performance of a spray boom can be evaluated from the individual nozzle distribution patterns determined in a patternator. The distribution patterns of several nozzle types were compared at several heights. The TF and XR nozzles showed the best performances, followed by TJ60-8010, TJ60-8006 and the FL nozzles. The nozzles TJ60-11006 and TQ showed some localized problems and TK nozzles had the worst results. Models for the relation between some statistics obtained the patterns the nozzle and heights were proposed.
