Effect of hormones on the rooting of piper nigrum cuttings

SUMMARY

This paper reports the results obtained by application of four different plant hormonos on cuttings ot Piper nigrum. The treatments consisted in the immersion of the lower end of the cutting in a solution of liquid hormone for 24 hours or by dipping it in the powdery hormone. The Serradix A gave the best results, the cuttings showing larger arid more vigorous roots.
