An experiment beginning in 1980 was conducted in a clay-textured alic Dusk Red Latosol at Mococa Experimental Station, State of São Paulo, Brazil. Four levels of dolomitic limestone were applied, at the rates of 1, 4, 7, and 10 t/ha. The objective was to determine the Zn concentration in soybean leaves when planted consecutively for three years. There was a decrease in the Zn concentration in the leaves along the years. Liming had a depressive effect on the leaf Zn concentration, but even at higher levels of liming, the leaf concentrations did not reach the deficiency level.
