The use of tea harvest data, as replication, for the purpose of variance analysis, was studied in this paper. The data was from the tea collection growing at the Experimental Station of Pariquera-Açu, lnstituto Agronômico, State of São Paulo, Brazil. The hypothesis of a dependence structure that allows the use of classical procedures to carry on the analysis of variance was confirmed for the data using the W² test, proposed by Baldessari and Soccorsi.
