Controladores adaptativos de temperatura em um túnel psicrométrico

This work aims at presenting the project of adaptive controllers for temperature control in a psychrometric tunnel. The tunnel is made of an airing system and a cooling system. The fan is put into motion by a continuous current engine which is controlled by a computer to engender and to move an unsteady air flow in the duct. The air temperature is measured by a sensor attached to the end of the tunnel. The temperature control is carried out in real time with the parameter system estimated by the algorithm of the recursive least-squares. A PI controller through pole placement and a generalized predictive controller (GPC) are projected and used to control the air flow temperature. Both control strategies to be used, are based on the system explicit model. The controllers are implemented through a computer program and through an input and output data board. Temperature response curves, evolution curves of the tunnel estimated parameters, control of variable curves, and estimation error curves are shown as experimental results.
