This work idea is that the collaborative relationships between university and primary and secondary schools are a better methodological alternative to the investigation and influence in teachers' professional development and work conditions. Collective projects which make research closer to the reality to be studied, as the collaborative "research-action", are very positive examples of partnership between university and primary and secondary schools, due to the fact that they produce opportunities for innovating work practices inside schools and develop reflective professionals at education. Taking into account that they renovate the involved institutions (universities and schools), their professionals and their practices, the collaborative projects specially allow us to learn more about alternative ways of initiating and consolidating educational changes.
