This article intends to analyise the relations between myth, violence and cinema. We want to know which are the stands that the filmic narrative offers to the public, when it sees a movie, to create and recreate meanings, going beyond the values reiterated by the filmic structure. The School would be a space to the literature, the arts in general and particularly tothe cinema particularly would to germinate the possibilities of studentspupils and teachers to get transformed into "imaginative subjects", producers and not only reproducers of meanings.
