nfluence of donor dopants on the degradation of SnO2 -based varistors and the effect of the oxygen post-degradation

The electric degradation of SnO2-based varistors has been studied and verified that the thermal runway happened at 220 ºC. The varistor characteristics are recovered when treated in O2-rich atmosphere showing the importance of this atmosphere for the varistor properties.
