The contribution of the ceramist industry relative on the gross domestic product reflects the existing informality in brickwork associated with unawareness, mostly those, who manufacture products. In the northeastern region, more specifically in Paraíba, the red ceramic industry also experienced such problems associated the absence of a more effective protocol. Thus, this project was developed aiming reduce the environmental impacts arising in the brickwork by Santa Cecília Ltda., PB, Brazil, evaluating new formulation and recycling disposal, grog. The material characterization was performed by X-ray diffraction, by X-ray fluorescence energy dispersive, by optical and scanning electron microscopy. The systems, grog/samples sintered at 800, 900 and 1000 °C were also evaluated for ceramic characteristics.
