This article intends to make a reflection on a concept that is known as "Círculo de Roqueplo" and it will be conducted under Japiassu's opinion in terms of the interdisciplinarity of the information science. As a result of this research, the study developed by the knowledge structure in this area can be adopted as a format to establish a nucleus of research for studies of information in information science.
