INCUBADORA DO CONHECIMENTO

From five years of experiense on creating and operating a helpdesk system on technology for micro and small enterprises (Dial - Tecnology of USP), the autor reflects about the possibilities of using non formal information as raw material to build knowledge. He introduces a philosophy that can be used when creating a "knowledge Incubator". This philosophy considers in the first place, total attention to demand, creating mechanisms to identify companies’issues and needs. The article shows, with some examples, that knowledge built on day-bay-day experience assimilated in accordance with people’s needs and capacities in a faster and more effective process than the formal one. Making basic information available for consumption creates a good and desired environment for incubator participants’ growth in knowledge.
