Information in science and technology: policies, programs and government actions - a literature review

Politics, programs and government actions for the development of science and technology in the country, they are created systematically by the Brazilian government, since the fifties. However, in spite of the several initiatives, the establishment of an infrastructure for the systematization of the information depends essentially on financing, as well as of the interest of the private initiative, in the sense of looking for these resources and, to establish indeed, a new productive segment in the country denominated of information industry.
