What are the views from 5^th and 9^th grade teachers about STS in Colombia? And how are those views related to the standards for science from the National Ministry of Education?

The following article seeks to provide information about Colombian teachers' views of Science, Technology and Society (STS). To this end a questionnaire, as a survey, was applied by the Instituto Colombiano para la Evaluación de la Educación (ICFES) to fifth and ninth grade teachers, from a sample of schools. It also establishes the relationship between the National Educational Ministry proposal of STS in the National Standards of Science and the obtained results.
