Political imaginary and coloniality: challenges to qualitative evaluation of public policies for environmental education

this paper describes and debates the large scale project that guided the formulation and implementation of public policies on environmental education in the Ministry of Environment and the Governing Body of the National Policy on Environmental Education in Brazil, during the administration of the Minister Marina Silva. It is an important aspect of evaluations and of continuing the design of public policies in this field. For the development of the debates that enable critical present and future decision making processes it is necessary to consider the political imagination. The political imagination is the source of all decisions that managers take. This article aims to be a contribution in this direction.
