The practice of the environmental education, although it has pawned in the “preservation of Nature”, it seems to have released the knowledge of the different sciences for the understanding of the concept of Nature that permeates our living. In this article, we present a mosaic of ideas and conceptions concerning the concept of Nature, composed under several interpretation points, delineating part of the construction and reconstruction history of a concept that it was already different from the current conception that is hegemonic of the western world thought.
