This paper focuses the construction of a partnership between 35 science teachers and twoo academics in a continuous teacher education program. According to them, the use and analysis of some similar teaching situations usually developed in the Science teaching have promoted problematizations and improvements in their teaching practice. These situations may exemplify the "hall of mirrors" strategy, as proposed by D. Schön, and can be seen as a powerful resource in the construction of collaborative partnerships between science teachers and academic researches.
