Scale reliability of textbooks and web from didactics transposition of Kossel, Lewis and Pauling molecular models

Abstract

The present study aimed to develop a scale of reliability of textbooks and web pages from the analysis of the didactic transposition of some molecular models presented by W. Kossel, G. N. Lewis and L. C. Pauling. We took into consideration documents published in its early versions, which were analyzed from a historical-epistemological perspective, to identify key aspects of their formulation. For the reliability scale six criteria were established framed into four categories of analysis, which include the issues identified for each molecular model. Two reliability scales were developed, the scale mentioning the aspects (EMA) and the weighting scale (EP) these were used for the analysis of 15 textbooks and 40 websites. According to these reliabilityscales it was found that the models presented in web pages and text books reviewed each have maximum of 10.85% and 5.85%.
