Abstract
In this article are discussed some of the effects of the globalization on religion, such as the relation between globalization and tradition, and the detraditionalizationing effect that globalization has by promoting religious pluralization and, consequently, leading to an autonomy of identities of those individuals who search for religious goods. For that, I analyze two cases with distinct features regarding all these processes.
