Honneth: The family between justice and affection

Abstract:

In text Between justice and affection: the family the field of moral disputes, Honneth offers a wide discussion about the normative controversies inherent in the modern family. Taking Kant and Hegel as reference for his research, who defend, respectively, the conception of family from a model of justice and from a model of affection, Honneth intends to demonstrate the need to consolidate these reflexive models as interdependent and non-excluding, maintain the embryonic conception of the family defined from affection.
