Abstract
In this paper we discuss different modes of existing-together. More specifically, we deal with the question of how certain beings come together in trajectories of entanglement. Étienne Souriau's contention that existence is not only plural but always capable of becoming other and of gaining (or losing) intensity provides the starting point for our reflection. The modes of existing-together that we describe here come from our different fields of research (relations between humans and other-than-human animals in a research lab, and relations between human and more-than-human beings in Afro-Brazilian religions). We are interested in exploring the different trajectories and techniques that enable certain modes of entanglement to emerge and gain force in these fields.
