Abstract
Article published in the Diário de Notícias journal, in 1943 in Rio de Janeiro. The paper presents characteristics of Nietzsche's moral philosophy and shows the German as a philosopher that sought to understand the "want-to-live", i.e. the expansion of life. Lúcio builds up his text exclusively on the basis of Thus spoke Zarathustra.
